Kittens in a Breeze

This painting depicts the nimble 14‑foot Arey’s Pond Catboat—affectionately called “the kittens” by the artist—known for its remarkable ability to sail in as little as twelve inches of water. Its full beam provides exceptional stability, making it one of the most forgiving and accessible catboats. The piece celebrates the boat’s agility, charm, and innovative craftsmanship.
