This painting was one of a dozen paintings displayed in the Arey's Pond exhibition on Cape Cod. The two Cat Boats are competing for the wind in during the yearly regatta that is held by the Arey's Pond Boat Yard in South Orleans MA. One boat is sailing in front of another, and stealing the wind from their competitors sail. It is always a pleasure to watch these beautiful boats on the water and it was a great experience being part of the 2020 Arey's Pond Regatta.
